Pacific Gateway Group, Inc.(PGG) was established in San Diego in 1985 as a public relations and consulting firm. Originally started as a partnership, PGG became a sole proprietorship in1989 under the direction of Doug Perkins, founder and president. PGG offers a broad spectrum of business and marketing services individually designed to meet each client's specific needs and goals. PGG excels at providing innovative and comprehensive program development, public awareness campaigns, strategic planning, and process improvement programs. PGG has earned an outstanding reputation for expertise in a variety of California's leading edge issues. PGG has provided a variety of specialized services to multiple state and local government agencies, non-profit organizations and businesses.

PGG gained Small & Minority Business certification with the State of California in 1990. In 1997, PGG became a California corporation and expanded its operation by opening an office in Sacramento, California.
